7 The ODBC Data Source Name is set by your system administrator to point to your database. Enter the name defined by your server administrator in the DSN box, and if your database is contained in a file then make sure that your database is uploaded to the location defined by your server administrator.
8 You can get the SQL string for a query by using your database tool's SQL view. In Microsoft Access 97, you can view SQL for a query by opening the query in Design Mode and then choosing the View SQL item from the View menu.
9 The names of the query fields can be found in the Query Designer view of your database tool. In Microsoft Access 97, select the query object in the Database window and click Design, or choose Query Design from the View menu.
10 Type the name of a form field in the form that calls this database query file. The value in this form field when the form is run is substituted into the query string, which lets you create parameterized queries.
